Ma’din Academy-School for Blinds

About us
The blind are not physically-disabled, they are differently-able. But unfortunately, they have become victims of social stigma and contempt. Their experiences may have traumatized them from childhood and they are denied opportunities to lead a life of dignity and self-respect. If brought up properly with equal love and care given to normal children, the blind too can excel in their chosen careers. Reports of blind students bagging first ranks in University exams are the best instances to show that they are no way behind normal children. Ma’din Special School for the Blind is a result of this realization and this institute accommodates blind children who are never reminded of their visual impairment but are mentally nourished by a group of well-trained teachers.
Admission
It has all the facilities to impart them the right kind of education even while taking care of them in the most compassionate way. Singing, studying and coping with the day’s lessons, they forget the perennial darkness of their world. Ma’din is providing them all facilities including food, education, accommodation and free treatment.
